Whitening
Professional teeth whitening is faster, more effective, and longer lasting that treatments you find over the counter. As we age, our teeth darken over time. We can significantly brighten your teeth, but maintaining good oral hygiene and steering away from certain foods and beverages will help keep any future whitening services to a minimum.
At Home Whitening
We will make you custom trays for your upper and lower teeth. This way you can whiten your teeth at your own convenience. Some patients will notice desired results quicker than others, but it is important to ease into whitening and not to over do it. Diet plays a large role in tooth stain so try to avoid items like coffee, teas, and red wine.
Procedure:
Thorough brushing of teeth
Application of whitening gel to trays
Wear trays for 4-6 hours and avoid eating or drinking anything during this time
Depending on how much your teeth lighten, repeat process
Post-procedure Care
As soon as you remove the bleaching trays from your mouth it is important to brush and rinse your mouth thoroughly. It is not uncommon for your teeth to be sensitive after whitening. If you experience sensitivity please contact our office and we can offer you a desensitizing gel to place in your trays.
